"I like to think of a Fan Mix in these terms, if this fan fic was a movie then the songs listed would be the soundtrack. It would be the music that accompanies a scenes or plays during a scene."-saltwatergirl

Chapter I.

Chapter II.

Chapter III.
[SONG]I'm sinking like a stone in the sea I'm burning like a bridge for your body" -Tatuo by Brand New

[FIC]They were now crotch to crotch and it was like nothing else mattered to Cody. With his eyes closed, he barely felt the pain caused by Randy pulling his hands at an awkward angle, all he could feel was pressure of Randy against him, how if Randy pushed down against him any harder he could get over the edge, he just needed to come so badly. Cody bit his lips and without thinking he bucked his hips up, once, twice and that was all it took. He whimpered and with that he came, his stomach contracting as waves of pleasure overtook his body, his breathing ragged and uneven, he moaned and -

[SONG]"If it keeps on raining the levee is going to break"- When the Levee Breaks by A Perfect Circle

[FIC]"I still remember the sound you made when you came."

Cody felt like he had the air sucked from out his lungs.

But Randy wasn't done yet. "It was sort of a whimper, and the look on your face. God, the look you had, an expression of want and need. Like the levees had broken. I can make that happen again. I can make you break again."

Chapter IV.

Chapter VI.

Chapter V.

[SONG]"Why can't anybody see what's good for you is not good for me? I can't take your sillyworld"-Sillyworld by Stone Sour

[FIC]"You could never tell he was married, the way he carries on." It was Ted's voice behind Cody. "I wonder if Samantha ever suspects?"

Cody turned to face him, "I guess it's not really any of our business."

Ted nodded, "But still I can't help but feel sorry for her. Anyone here can see that Randy isn't faithful to her."

The blonde now had her hand on Randy's arm, talking animatedly and Randy said something to her to cause her to laugh out loud, causing a few heads to turn and look in their direction. Cody looked away trying hard not to think about the emotions that threatened to surface, he had no right to feel jealous or angry. Randy didn't owe him anything.

[SONG]"Sex and Love is not a game. A game is something you can win" Bloodsport by Sneaker Pimps

[FIC]"I've had enough of this charade so I suggest we play a different type of game," he said walking to the foot of the bed. He began to remove his t-shirt, his movement slow and deliberate, pulling the t-shirt from the bottom hem, exposing his stomach, then pecs. He threw the shirt at Randy. "In this game we try to get the other to come first."

Randy caught the t-shirt, "So whoever comes first, loses?"

"Yes." He started to unzip his jeans. "Whoever gets the other to come first can do whatever he wants with the loser."

Chapter VII.

Chapter VIII

[SONG]"If I could tear you from the ceiling I'd freeze us both in time. Find a brand new way of seeing. Your eyes forever glued to mine...I know your broken I know your broken"- Blind by Placebo

[FIC]"Yes…?"

"I want you," Cody said.

"Cody, you can do much better than that. I want to hear you say it."

Cody closed his eyes, gritting his teeth. "I want you to-" he stopped, not sure if he could say the words.

"Yes?" Randy said again sounding as patient as an old college professor being harassed by a student who wouldn't stop asking questions.

"I want you to fuck me." Cody opened his eyes.

Randy's eyes were ablaze. "Say it again. Louder."

I want you to fuck me!" Cody practically shouted.

Randy smiled and placed his free hand over Cody's head patting it gently. Then he ran his hand down tracing the contours of Cody's face. He lowered his head and kissed him, intertwining their tongues.

"Cody," Randy said once more and he pulled away. Cody barely heard him, so lost was he in the sexual heat of desire and lust. Opening his eyes, he watched Randy who was entranced by his own hand over Cody's jaw. There was a look of possessiveness in Randy's eyes that frightened and turned Cody on at the same time. An ambivalent need to fight or flee took over Cody. Fuck or flee. Cody didn't want to run away. He was done with running away.

Chapter IX.

Chapter X.

[SONG]"I don't fly around your fire anymore! I don't fly around your fire anymore"-Moth by Audioslave

[FIC]"Do you ever want to go back in the past and change something, maybe do it differently or not at all?" Cody asked.

Evan glanced at him, "The past is set in stone. You can't go back, no matter how much you want to."

[SONG]"Am I wrong? Is this really what you want to happen?"- Never Feel Alone by The Dangerous Summer

[FIC]When Evan came back he got onto the floor next to him, and they kissed again. He couldn't help but think about how different it was to kiss Evan compared to Randy. They feel of Evan, against his body, the way he lightly placed his hand on the side of Cody's face, it was all so new. Evan even tasted different. Cody had thought once that he would never kiss another man, never know another man besides Randy. But here he was, his tongue in Evan's mouth, Evan moaning against his lips. It was different, but at the same time it was also the same. A bit like an orgasm when he was fucking to an orgasm where he was the one being fucked. Coming with one, coming from the inside with the other. A contraction of muscles, a gasping of breath, a release of energy.

Chapter XI.

[SONG]"Bury all your secrets in my skin, come away with innocence and leave me with my sin"-Snuff by Slipknot

[FIC]Evan…" Cody looked down. He could have said the words so easily but would they have been even true? Evan did mean something to him. But everything was complicated. Somewhere between want, desire and need was Randy. He was the centre of it all. How much of what he felt for Evan was real? What else was a hologram of his selfish reasons for not wanting to be alone? He had the need to feel needed. He wanted the desire to look into someone else's eyes and know that they wanted him almost (if not more) as much he wanted them.

He pulled back. "I can't. I'm sorry." His attempt at fixing things with Evan was making everything worst. Sex... the easy part in a relationship. His thoughts came back to him like a boomerang.

"Me too." Evan said. They sat in the car in silence for a moment. "Why him?" Evan finally asked.

"I don't know."

Chapter XII.

"If life is an ocean. I must be only on the surface"-On the Surfce by Civil Twilight

[FIC]"Why are you still here?" He said gruffly while trying to get up.

[Randy stared at him in silence his face a marsk, unreadable. He took a step towards Cody then like an afterthought; he stepped back and walked out.

[Cody got up onto the bed, collapsing from the exertion before lying on his side, silent for a moment. Then the tears started.

Chapter XIII.

Chapter XIV.

[FIC]"I wanted to break you apart… because… I never thought that I would want more from you than sex."

"Your voice is killing, your words are hard as they come...your heart is pulling me, the cut runs deeper as it goes. Scars that can not heal the hurt is covered to the bone"-Selfish and Cold by Rev Thoery

Cody had gone beyond the point of breaking. He felt so discombobulated. Maybe he was waking up from a bad dream, where his blood and bones lay scattered all over the highway like the victim of a car crash. Maybe he was looking back to the wreckage that was life. Maybe all of that or maybe nothing at all. Maybe if he could change Randy could to. Spending his life running away was not an option. Ultimately fulfilment had a price; pain and the all-consuming, glaring agony of love. He needed to finally make a choice.
